Max is so curious and desperately wants to be friends with Jack. Jack is still a bit unsure at times. Sometimes we call Jack our "little booger" and Max looks up, so now we have to differentiate between "Big Boog" and "Little Boog."

He is a very happy baby (most of the time)! :)

Jack seems to be changing more every single day! I have enjoyed him so much over this past week! He has been smiling like crazy and talking a lot and there was even a bit of a giggle. We spent quite a bit of time playing on the floor the other day. He has been trying soooo hard to suck his thumb and he's almost got it. Max tries to get in on the action, too. He definately loves Jack - I'm sure one day they will be great friends! He loves to give Jack kisses and nearly gave him a bath while we were playing on the floor!

A Couple of Firsts!

Thank goodness - The weather seems to be warming up a bit here! We have had a couple of beautiful days and we have taken advantage of it! This week, Jack took his first trip to the mall. Doesn't he look excited?!? He's a born shopper! And we went for a walk around the neighborhood. He looks a little worried, but he had a good time. In fact, he was actually awake for about the first 20 minutes of it!

The Many New Faces of Jack

Jack has started to make lots of fun faces. He loves to make noises and hear noises and is a pretty happy baby. When he first started to open his eyes, he made some pretty funny faces. Some people have called this picture "Blair Witch Project Jack."

I bet you would never guess, but it was Oma Jude's idea to take a pic like this! I know it's been a while, and Jack has changed so much since he was born, so I thought we should get some new pics up. Jack will be 8 weeks old this week! He is smiling a lot and trying to have conversations with us. He likes to exercise his legs and is growing like crazy!

Welcome Baby Jack!

Baby Jack Lawrence Parise was born on January the 7th @ 2:14 p.m. Jack weighs 7lbs 10 ounces and is 19 inches in length.

Jack's name was given in honor of Josh's Grandpa "Jack" who passed away a couple of months ago and is missed by all of us. We hope that baby Jack follows in his great grandpa's footprints by putting smiles on the faces of all who come in contact with him.

Jack's middle name, Lawrence, is not the first name of just one of our fathers, but both! Everybody needs a little "larry" in their life!

In all seriousness we cannot express how God has blessed us and appreciate all who have been and will continue praying for us. Keep posted for more pictures tomorrow and maybe even a video or 2!
